最近因为一些其他原因,进行了一次主机退款,偶然发现BlueHost官方改变了退款政策。以前退款只需填写任意回复邮箱,所有的回复邮件都会发送到这个邮箱中,但是这次退款发现官方将申请退款填写信息确认链接发送到主机注册时填写的联系人邮箱中,具体退款过程如下:
首先,登录BlueHost官方网站,点击 Help Center 进入帮助中心提交ticket,此时我顺手填写的回复邮箱是常用的QQ邮箱,ticket内容如下:
Hello
I need to cancel my accout .and refund the money
my domain:xxxxx
Login username : xxx
password:xxx
Thanks
因为中美时差问题,因此一般都是白天查看回复邮件,前两天还好,能够及时收到回复邮件并确认退款,但是第三天要发送申请退款信息填写链接到我的邮箱时,却没有在邮件中找到相关链接,于是我便回信询问一下,结果收到的邮件内容:
The cancellation email is being sent the email address on file, which is your 163.com email address. Please check this email address for the cancellation email.
这时才有点明白,原来他们把包含退款信息填写链接发送到163.com邮箱中了,仔细检查了我的主机才发现是我当时购买主机时填写的联系人邮箱地址,于是登录以前的163.com邮件,填写退款信息才完成整个退款过程。
事后,我又发送了一封邮件询问他们关于主机退款的政策,收到的回复邮件内容如下:
xx xxx,
We are only able to send communication to the email that is on file for your account. If you would like an email sent to another address, please log into your Hostmonster cPanel and update the email address on file. We would then be able to send your information to the new email address.
