Ann A. [5:09:31 PM]: We do not have a limit for bandwith, so there’s never any overage fees. The limits we have are cpu and process limits to prevent the server from being overloaded. Our cpu limit is 50% of cpu, which means you can use 30 cpu seconds for every 60 seconds of real time.

Ann A. [5:12:02 PM]: Yes, if the cpu limit is exceeded, then the site goes down temporarily, usually 5-10 min. We also keep a log of the scripts that caused cpu to be exceeded. most cpu errors are due to unoptimized scripts and databases, and can usually be resolved. If it’s due to high concurrent traffic, then a vps/dedicated server would be a better option.
